Jessica Godoy Presentation Analysis
Group 1-
Group one was presented by Jessenia , Rem , Jaely, Matthew, Kevin, Anabella, Gabriela, Jessica, Darleny and Naomy, my group presented from chapters one through four and it talks about how in the powerpoint you will learn about skills that will be useful in your everyday life. Making my slides for the powerpoint and gathering up information from those chapters taught me how important it is to make sure when you present to be calm and that everything you say is useful and relevant to the topic you're talking about to not bore the people that are listening to the presentation . It is good to talk about current topics so people can be interested and even participate when you are presenting, if you're feeling too nervous before you present you can see classmates as your friends , know your subject , care about your subject and act confidently. The introduction of public speaking is very important because that's something you're going to do everyday wether you like it or not, therefore it is good that you start to get comfortable with it since now. Another reason why public speaking is important because later on in life when you have an interview its good that you know how to communicate well and use the right words when speaking, leaving a good first impression and I think this class is going to help everyone have a better way of expressing themselves. When you make a speech in public its good to be aware of your surroundings and watch what you say because you don't know how the people around you can react , before you make your speech you need to know what kind of people are going to be there or just pick a topic that you know its not going to bother anyone. In conclusion , group one did amazing in explaining everything I understood my slides and the powerpoint, it was very interesting topic to talk about and I hope everyone else enjoyed it and learned something from it.
Group 2-
Group two was presented by Bryan, Alexander, Mayla, Jorel , Tania, Kayli, Bryan, Kenny, Maria and Ana,
Sadly I wasn't there to see the presentation in person but from what I've been reading it looks like a well written and organized presentation , they presented from chapters five through nine . They talked about the importance and benefits of research , the relevance of organizing your presentation , ways to create an effective delivery , characteristics of language , tips to improve your clarity and style and benefits from using sensory aids and the types to use. In my opinion I understood everything they talked about , everything is very detailed, I agree on the part that says doing research is important because you can't just talk about something you barely know about therefore it is good to know everything you're talking about and that the information you're giving is correct. They talk about how organization is important and I agree a lot because if you go and present and everything is out of order you are messing up the whole presentation and that's going to make you get anxiety and everything will just get ruined , they also mention how introduction is very important because they set the tone for your entire presentation and I also learned that when I was presenting myself, the way you introduce yourself or the way you introduce the presentation will either catch everyones attention or not. I like how at the end of the powerpoint they added what they learned about each chapter , it shows they actually did their research and tried their best doing this powerpoint. In conclusion this was a great powerpoint and I learned a lot from it even tho I wasn't there to see it in person , I hope everyone else learned a lot from it too because this was a very interesting powerpoint and everything is very well detailed , I think group two did a really good job on their powerpoint I understood all the chapters that they talked about.
Group 3-
Group three was presented by Amanda, Ashley, Stephanie, Amber, Bethany, Carlos, Javier, Laura, Adrian and mare, they did chapters ten through twelve and they talked about principles of informative presentation , what are persuasive presentations and their different types, characteristics of this type of presentation and necessary skills for group presentations. The presentation was really interesting and got a lot of information from it , they explained all the chapters in a simple way that I was able to understand and Im sure everyone else did too, they said that presentations are designed to make a point in a creative
and oftentimes humorous way and I couldn't agree more because when you make a boring presentation people are most likely to not pay attention and just ignore what you say that's why its good to have pictures , make it colorful and throw some jokes once in a while , they also mentioned different examples of how should the groups plan and everything they said its useful especially dividing responsibilities equally because its never good to give some people easier work and others harder work because some misunderstandings can happen without meaning it, this powerpoint was very well written and interesting.
Overall review-
To summarize my thoughts everyones presentation was amazing , everything was simple to understand and very well written and the colorful powerpoints made everything more interesting. I feel like this was a more fun and interesting way of learning over a lot of chapters at once because everything is kind of summarized therefore it is more simple to understand because in the presentations everyone focused more on the important parts. Everyone's delivery was strong which was another. factor that made the presentations, ones that will stick with me. Many other factors have aided in this however their delivery and knowledge were two hat truly made it much easier to understand and grasp the knowledge. The group leaders also did amazing in the conclusion and the ending , they were a big part of this project for everyone because they helped a lot in organizing.

Excellent reflection. Great comments
